Iprasol HFA Inhaler
Iprasol inhalation aerosol is indicated for patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) who are already using a regular aerosol bronchodilator but still experience bronchospasm and require an additional bronchodilator for better symptom control.
Adults (including elderly):
Typically, 2 puffs are taken four times daily. Additional puffs may be used if needed, but the total dose should not exceed 12 puffs within 24 hours, or as directed by a physician.

✅ Description:
Salbutamol (Inhaler) 100mcg+ Ipratropium Bromide (Inhaler) 20mcg contains a combination of salbutamol (as sulphate) and ipratropium bromide in an HFA-based, environmentally friendly formulation that does not use CFC propellants.
Salbutamol is a short-acting β2-agonist that relaxes airway smooth muscles, while ipratropium bromide is an anticholinergic agent that blocks muscarinic receptors, preventing bronchoconstriction. Together, they act through different mechanisms to enhance bronchodilation, resulting in improved airflow and symptom relief compared to either drug used alone.

✔️ Proper inhaler technique is essential to ensure effective drug delivery:
- Remove the cap and shake the inhaler well before use.
- If new or unused for a week, release a test puff into the air.
- Exhale fully, place the mouthpiece between the lips, and seal tightly.
- Inhale slowly and deeply while pressing the canister.
- Hold your breath for about 10 seconds before exhaling.
- Wait at least 1 minute between multiple puffs if prescribed.
- Rinse the mouth after use.
Cleaning:
Clean the inhaler weekly by rinsing the plastic parts with warm water (do not immerse the metal canister). Allow to dry completely before reassembling.
